Avalanche Summary

Northerly slopes below ridgelines and in gullies are areas you could trigger an avalanche tomorrow. Look for and avoid smooth rounded pillows of snow that may have a firm hollow feel. Avoid steep slopes if you see cracking and collapsing in the new snow. You can find safer travel on lower-angled slopes or those where the wind is not drifting snow.
