Lo esencial

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE and will increase during the day. Recent new snow has fallen upon well developed surface hoar and is loading a snowpack with persistent weaknesses at its base. The potential remains for humans to trigger deep hard slabs up to six feet deep in some steep avalanche paths. The failure of these deep hard slabs would likely require a larger trigger such as a snowmachine or multiple riders or skiers. In addition new soft surface slabs up to 18 inches in depth and loose snow sluffs could be human triggered today on steep avalanche prone terrain features.
