Lo esencial

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Slabs up to two feet in depth persist in the starting zones of known avalanche paths, cliff areas and on the steep walls of cirques and basins. The potential for a person, especially someone on a snow machine, to trigger one of these slabs continues.

Avalanche Discussion

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Light snow will continue Sunday night through Monday with accumulations of one or two inches. Temperatures will fall to the mid teens overnight and only warm to the upper teens Monday. Ridge top winds will be westerly with 40 mile per hour averages Sunday night into Monday afternoon. The general avalanche hazard will be LOW in the Tetons and Togwotee Pass areas.
