Lo esencial

At the upper elevations pockets of new surface slabs formed by predominantely Westerly winds to a foot in depth could be human triggered on steep wind loaded slopes. At mid elevations pockets of potentially deeper slabs that experienced rapid warming yesterday could be released on very steep slopes. At the lower elevations avalanches will be limited to isolated pockets on very steep terrain. As warming occurs today at the mid and low elevations, the potential for wet point releases and wet slab avalanches will increase. An unconfirmed slab avalanche was reported to have occured in Avalanche Bowl on Teton Pass yesterday.
