Lo esencial

The general avalanche hazard at the mid and upper elevations (7,500 to 10,500 feet) is MODERATE. Unstable wind slabs exist on steep slopes and can by triggered by the weight of a single person. These slabs were easily triggered yesterday and have enough size and volume to seriously injure or bury people. Avalanches are unlikely below an elevation of 7,500 feet.

Unstable slabs formed by southwest to northwest winds with depths to two feet exist on steep slopes. These slabs can be triggered by people who venture into avalanche terrain. Sunshine and warming temperatures will increase the sensitivity of these slabs to human triggers.
