Lo esencial
At mid and upper elevations new soft slabs up to 18 inches in depth have been formed by west to northwest winds. These slabs and older pockets of soft surface slab could be human triggered today on steep, wind loaded aspects. Deep slab instabilities persist and the potential continues for people to trigger these slabs which could pull out to the ground. Those who trigger these slabs could suffer severe trauma and or deep burial. Loose snow sluffs are possible today on steeper terrain and sunlit aspects. At the lower elevations isolated pockets of new soft slab up to one foot in depth could be triggered on steeper wind loaded avalanche terrain.
