Lo esencial

We have a mostly LOW avalanche danger today. The danger will remain LOW through the weekend. Watch for drifting snow today. If the wind picks up enough, we may see some fresh drifts form.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: Riding conditions remain good to excellent. A number of small storms over the last week or so have produced about a foot of total snow accumulation. There has not been much wind over the last couple of days. Overnight temperatures were in the low 20s but colder in the canyon bottoms.

Mountain Weather: We have a number of nice days in head of us with plenty of sun and very mild temperatures over the weekend. It looks like the northwest wind will increase in speed a bit as the day goes on. The next storm moves in Sunday night with much colder air. This should produce a decent little shot of snow for us and I'm anticipating 5 to 9 inches of snow by Tuesday. The wind direction will be very northerly so this may limit snow amounts a bit.
