Even in moderately steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the icy crust.
Snowpack Structure
In particular at low and intermediate altitudes hardly any snow is lying. Sunshine and high temperatures gave rise to rapid settling of the snowpack in all aspects.
Tendency
The avalanche danger will persist.
