The new snow has slightly elevated the avalanche danger. A "pockety" MODERATE avalanche danger exists on steep slopes in the upper elevations where wind drifted snow is present. Small human triggered avalanches are possible. The avalanche danger will start to decrease as the new snow settles and bonds during the day.

Current Conditions: The Skyline picked up 4 to 5 inches of new snow as of 6am this morning. Northwest wind has been a little blustery along the ridges. Temperatures are in the low 20s.

Mountain Weather: The storm will end this morning. Clouds may hang around the peaks for the rest of the day. Northwest wind will gradually slow down. It looks like we'll see clouds over the mountains again on Tuesday. Another quick hitting weak storm moves through on Wednesday with a trace to a couple of inches of snow expected.
