The avalanche danger is generally LOW today. While it's unlikely that people will trigger avalanches today, places you might find trouble would be in the steepest most radical upper elevation north through east facing terrain. Only put one rider on a steep slope at a time and don't regroup below steep slopes.

Watch for minor heat related avalanche activity on sunny slopes especially on steep slopes in the mid and lower elevations.

Current Conditions: The snow surface consists of smooth dense powder and is good riding. The northwest wind slightly bumped up in speed mid day on Friday and drifted a small amount of snow in the higher terrain. Below is a 60 second week in review video.

Mountain Weather: Temperatures will get quite warm today and we'll see lots of sun. We should see high temperatures around 40˚F and light west wind. Sunday will be slightly cooler with some clouds starting to move in and increasing southwest wind. A snow storm will move through Sunday night into Monday bringing 5 to 10 inches of snow by Tuesday. Weather remains unsettled through mid week and another shot of snow should come Thursday.
