Weak layers in the old snowpack are treacherous.

The surface of the snowpack will soften quickly. Backcountry tours and off-piste skiing should be concluded early. Single winter sport participants can release avalanches as before. In particular on very steep north, northeast and east facing slopes the avalanches can be released in the weakly bonded old snow and reach medium size, caution is to be exercised in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain, and at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack. Remotely triggered avalanches are possible in isolated cases. As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible.

Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be good. The old snowpack remains weakly bonded on shady slopes. The more recent wind slabs are to be found areas not adjacent to ridgelines, this also applies adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas above approximately 2300 m.

The danger of moist avalanches will increase a little during the day.
