Spring solar radiation is strong, surface snow can be effected, even during partially cloudy periods.

Numerous wet loose avalanches, up to size 2 were observed in the last 5 days.

Snowpack Summary

25 cm of storm snow has fallen since Wednesday evening. Below it sits a series of melt forms and melt freeze crusts. The atmospheric river crust is down 50-70 cm. The mid and lower snowpack are well settled.

Up to 4 cm of snow. Alpine Low of -9 °C, High of -4 °C. Wind gusting to 40 km/h. Freezing level at valley bottom.

Friday

Isolated flurries. Alpine temperature Low of -9 °C, High -5 °C. Wind gusting to 25 km/h. Freezing level at 1500 m.

Saturday

Up to 6 cm of snow. Alpine Low of -10 °C, High of -5 °C. Wind up to 20 km/h. Freezing level at 1500 m.
