Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be generally stable.

The snowpack will be generally stable. Avalanches can be released, in particular by large loads. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.

Snowpack Structure

In high Alpine regions less snow than usual is lying. Avalanches can in very isolated cases be triggered in the old snowpack reach medium size in particular on very steep northwest, north and northeast facing slopes. The danger of moist avalanches will increase but remain within the current danger level. They can occur in particular in starting zones where previous releases have taken place. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be concluded timely.
