Wet and gliding snow require caution.

Individual small moist avalanches are possible above approximately 2000 m. On very steep sunny slopes the likelihood of avalanches being released is greater.

Snowpack Structure

Above approximately 2000 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The snowpack will be moist at high altitude. On Wednesday it will be mild. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be reduced. These weather conditions will give rise to extreme and thorough wetting of the snowpack at high altitude.
