Avalanche Summary

Avalanche danger is generally safe due to a shallow, weak, and discontinuous snowpack. The places where you might trigger a small avalanche are in stiff wind-drifts at upper elevations. Safer and more enjoyable travel can be found in wind-sheltered terrain.
