At the upper elevations isolated areas of unstable snow persist on very steep northerly aspects underlain by an October crust. These areas should be avoided as some potential remains for humans to trigger pockets of dense slabs up to two feet in depth on these slopes. Snow depths at the mid elevations thin towards the lower elevations where the ground is mostly bare.
