Avalanche Summary

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist. You can trigger a large avalanche where recent winds drifted snow onto northeast through east to southeast-facing slopes. While unlikely, an avalanche within the new snow could step down into a buried weak layer creating a large and dangerous slide. Steer clear of slopes with smooth rounded snow surfaces that appear textured. Seek wind-sheltered slopes at lower elevations for safer travel options.
