Lo esencial
Isolated pockets of new soft slab up to eight inches in depth have formed in wind loaded starting zones at the mid and upper elevations. These new pockets of slab and loose snow sluffs could release naturally or be easily triggered on steep wind loaded aspects today. Older slabs 2 to 4 feet in depth continue to present a significant hazard. These deep slabs lie upon weak layers of faceted snow and could be human triggered, especially in areas with recent wind deposits, around rock outcrops and in areas with a shallower snowpack. Loose snow sluffs are possible on steep sunlit aspects today at all elevations.
