Drifting snow will lead to the development of moderately bonded windslab in steep sheltered locations, mainly on East to South aspects, generally above 700 metres Coire rims, gullies and ridge flanks will mostly be affected. Exposed windward areas will be scoured. The old snow patches will be refrozen and very firm. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Wintry showers will persist throughout the period, with snow initially lying around 200 metres, lowering to glen level later as the freezing level lowers in the afternoon. There will be a fresh North-West wind, gradually strengthening through the period.
