Strong winds are creating wind slabs at and above treeline. Skier accidently triggers a size 1.5 avalanche. Any new snow will increase the danger.

    Strong westerly winds have created a 10-30cm soft slab. A skier near the Icefields triggered a size 1.5 at treeline and a size 2 natural was observed from the alpine near Maligne Lake.
