Forecast Snow Stability: New unstable windslab will develop in steep wind sheltered locations North through East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. These areas are expected to be isolated with gully tops and corrie rims most affected. Elsewhere, any wind exposed terrain will be scoured, older snow will be very firm and icy. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: As the freezing levels drop precipitation will turn to snow by morning above 600 metres. Winds will be storm force during the day, West-South-West or West. Observed Weather Influences: A cloudy and mild day with occasional rain. Fresh to strong winds from the South-West to West. ObservedSnowStability: Little has changed on the hill. The majority of the ground is snow free with strips of moist snow and slush found from around 600 metres. Isolated patches of old snow are found above 700 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
