Quick report
Warm yet stable snowpack. Saturated surface snow could produce small wet loose in steep terrain. Natural, Small D-1 wet loose point releases and a small D-1 and Natural wind slab avalanche D-1-1.5 on NE aspect of Granite above Twin Lakes at approximately 8300’ NE.

Graupel was falling down to around 6,300 feet intermittently and one large audible thunder. Low clouds moved in mid day and shrouded the peaks.
Snowpack
Strong snowpack with minimal surface freezing at lower elevations, upper elevations were warmer and softer. The surface snow had graupel that was accumulating on top of 4-6cm of wet snow on a NW aspect at 7687’.No propagation ECTN 25 at 30cm.
Avalanche
Observed many fresh wet loose, harmless D-1 small avalanches on the surface of West face of Slab Butte approx 8100’, and in Twin Lakes on a SE aspect approx 7900’
