Quick report

Toured up Powderhouse this morning, 7am-9am. No signs of instabilities, but also not a lot of new snow. New snow was very light powder. 8000' N aspect - HS 47cm; 10-12cm new snow on top of sun crust on top of wet facets 9000' NE aspect - HS 63cm; 18cm new snow on top of soft old snow Cloudy, just below freezing temperatures. Light wind from the SW felt only on the ridge. Snow available for transport but not moving. Light snow began to fall around 8:30am. Riding down the lower angle zone was manageable and fun up high, a bit sketchy but not treacherous. Gently tapped a few rocks and felt many refrozen ski tracks.
