Traveled from Artist Point trailhead to Herman gulch, took one run down iceberg trees before going back up and over to Mazama bowl. Dropped the bowl around 1 pm and went up secret bowl. Hand pits were mostly unconsolidated and not shearing very cleanly. Slabbing started in the afternoon and more so on sun affected slopes. New snow varied between 8 to 12 inches on the different aspects and elevations. Riding conditions were incredible!

Avalanche

Observed D1.5 debris on steeper slope in Mazama Bowl, appeared to be skier-triggered between 10:30-1 pm today. Some sluff debris off of table in the morning and when steeper slopes got hit by the afternoon sun. Triggered a very small storm slab by the ridge line of secret bowl, traveled only a few feet but broke 9 inches down. Big slide (D2) came down Blueberry chute around 3 pm today. Morning was uneventful, slabs and overall reactivity started building in the afternoon
