Quick report
Toured up Mt. Fuji and dug a pit on a NW aspect at 6,000 feet. No red flags observed during tour. Weather was 28 degrees F, no wind and very light snow falling, overcast. We observed 30cm of new snow on top of the rain crust. Total snowpack depth was 164cm. We observed the storm slab (top 30cm) propagating on tap 12 during our extended column test. ECTP 12. We elected to stick to low-angle terrain in the trees while descending.
