Quick report
We set out at 11:30 am with high overcast skies. Mid-40 degree temps at Paradise. In the morning, easterly wind was gusting at 20 mph but calmed by 1pm. Climbed up to 9k' under increasingly clear skies and direct sun. Began descending at 2:30 pm. Snow on the snowfield above the chute was stiff windbuff but was edgable and skied well. Upper chute was 1" to 2" soft wind-transported snow on top of refrozen base. Lower chute became increasingly heavy moving toward mashed potatoes. Or perhaps chowder. Exiting left, we found loose wet activity on SW-facing slopes, likely from a day or two prior. I kicked off a few mild loose wets and would have seen more if we'd hung around. Snow descending to Paradise was increasingly heavy. Phenomenal day out, surprised by lack of crowds on the snowfields, but understandable due to the forecast.

Loose wet debris in lower Nisqually Chute, mostly from SW facing slopes, likely happened yesterday? And a big debris field from a serac fall/loose wet on the lower Nisqually Glacier
