Quick report
A stabilizing snowpack. We did a snowpit as part of our avalanche class. In the column test we had failures in the storm snow and on the persistent weak layer. In the ECT we saw similar failures with no propagation. In our pit we found rounding facets 80cm down on top of a melt/freeze crust. On the way out while climbing the unplowed road we were able to see the chutes off of Mazama ridge. There were no avalanche on those slopes.
