Quick report
Skiing condition in blowout basin was impenetrable wind board that was quite fun and fast. Backcountry groomer conditions. We dropped barely into snow-slide and dug a pit on an East aspect at 11,440 ft. There was very hard and thin windslab sitting on top of low density snow that was reactive during an ECT and CT. This low density layer underlying the windslab was of most concern. Beneath that the snowpack was textbook right side up and no crusts were observed in the tope 130 cm of the snowpack.
