Saw a lot of widespread cracking on the way into promise land. Snow is noticeably slabbier on Lee side than it has been in previous days. Snow in the trees sheltered a bit more from the wind was quite delightful, though still ground brush to hop over.

- <p>A lot of snow transport is loading / cross loading lee-side aspects. Surface snow is noticeably denser and more cohesive anywhere exposed to and just leeward of wind. </p> <p>Poor snowpack</p> <p>The snow transport is continuing to load an already unstable snowpack while simultaneously creating much harder and denser slabs than we have seen in previous days. </p>
