The ECT propagated on the January 4 layer. Crust seems to be decomposing and it failed on 1-2 mm facets Several avalanches seen that have been natural triggers and one or two that appear to be human triggered. Collapsing occurred in areas that others have not ridden since last storm.

Snowpack
Dug pit around 9000’ East aspect and about 15° slope. ECTN 9 at 124cm and ECTP 24 at 59cm. Total snow depth of 139cm with new snow about 6 cm. The ECT propagated on the problem Jan 4 layer that we have been seeing for the past couple weeks.
