I decided to check out the Dog Lake area and will likely visit Reynolds soon. The latter has a very large cornice across its summit that was visible from the flats just above
Dog Lake.
The snow conditions were definitely tough due to suncrust and melting snow. The snow surface locked in pretty solid at sunset leaving traveling conditions fairly doable.
Weather conditions were clear with only a light drainage wind evident. Temperatures were in the upper 20's.
