Quick report
Unfortunately, the title of the famous Norman Maclean novel "A River Runs Through It" is my best summary of what is happening in the ravine right now. Ascending and descending multiple of the snow filled gullies to the terminus of their snow (mid gully) we found nothing that inspired confidence or gave us warm fuzzy feelings. Left gully, chute, and chute north all are fraught with undermined snow, exposed rock (how do you best describe a river took a bite out of the middle of left and there is nothing but a rock trough?), audible running water, cracks in the snowpack, and barely penetrable névé. Ice in the area of the headwall looked uninviting and loomed over the ravine. Its uninviting(ness) comes from the appearance that it is delaminated, fragile, and newly formed, its looming(ness) is somewhat the same as I think strong solar or a bought of warm weather could send much of it down to the ravine floor. Side note: pickets are getting great purchase in the current snowpack where its depth remained intact.
