This avalanche likely slid naturally overnight at some point as the bed surface had some new snow on it. This avalanche was also not nearly as deep as the other avalanche we spotted, which was more wind-loaded (link to observation HERE). What surprised us here was the width of the avalanche across the whole upper headwall of Highline.
