Quick report
A Large natural avalanche was observed on Bloody Mountain today, 1/24. Photos from 1/23 confirm this as new activity today. I've dropped an arrow to point out the crown. I suspect this likely started as a result of wind loading, and given the amount of dirt in the track, this avalanche likely involved weak grains at the base of the snowpack. It's hard to estimate the size with a high level of certainty. I've listed this as a size 2.5, but there is a chance this is closer to D3 in size.
