I saw an ob from 1/5 that mentioned a massive avalanche in mineral fork, but that observer said their avalanche had occurred on 12/29. The crown on this avalanche still looked pretty sharp, making me think it likely happened late on 1/4 or early 1/5.
We topped out on the ridge above George's Bowl and saw this monster across the way in Mineral Fork. Using a mapping app I estimate it to be a half-mile wide, including the ski runs No Mongo, Santiago, and part of Room of Doom. Not much more to say than that, other than that it's crazy to see how continuous our slab and PWL are.
