Quick report
No signs of instability and no new snow. Climbed Skyline Approach and skied Skyline Bowl East. Snow had a firm breakable crust of about an inch thick all the way down to where we stopped at around 4850 ft elevation. No instability, but just crumby skiing. Climbed East/Northeast to the top of Moonlight Bowl around noon and got wonderful corn snow on the top half of Moonlight, which softened a bit as the trees got tighter toward the bottom of the run, but was still skiable, pleasant, and stable. Weather was sunnier than expected. Forecast was for overcast or mostly-cloudy skies, but we had sun for most of the late morning and afternoon.
