5ish cm of heavy new snow on top of crust, which did not soften throughout the day. Some spots were a little more slab like. Observed some isolated cracking throughout the day. Ski cuts generated small slab failures in two places with 5ish cm crowns that only ran 5-10 m on isolated terrain features, but mostly were unreactive.
