New snow of 2-4 inches has accumulated quietly atop last larger storm slab from a week ago. Some windslab development is lightly buried by fresh snow making skiing and riding quite good. No obvious recent signs of instability. During heavy storm of a week ago some soft storm slabs released on steeper 40 degree terrain. Debris now mostly covered. Total snow depth varies from a foot of settled snow with a base at 5500' to 2 feet at 6-6,500', with 3 to 4 feet above 7,000' to 8,500' depending on slight nuances in windloading or scouring. Pit yesterday performed by guests in 120-160 cm snow revealed Extended column test 11 with nonpropagation without any significant lemons in the snowpack other than shallow overall depth. Enjoy.
