Quick report
We experienced no signs of instability. There was no storm snow, though the existing snow was being moved around and taken away by high winds. From the summit of Cascade, there was wind loading at the top of the SW aspect. We traveled conservatively and cautiously through the terrain.

Touring up Baxter Basin, we experienced no signs of instability. However, the wind/gusts were high, and we saw the aftermath of four natural slides. While ascending the SW aspect of Cascade, we noted a crown on Richmond's NE ridge. From Cascade's ridge, a slide was visible across the gulch, on Purple. After descending Cascade, two small wind slab avalanches on SE/E aspects in Baxter Basin (~10,800-10,200) had occurred while we climbed the ridge/descended.
