We skied several laps in the bottom 2/3 of Hillman’s Highway. There was active snow/graupel during our tour, and winds started out breezy before decreasing after 1pm or so. When we first got the Hillman’s the main gully was filled with largely unconsolidated graupel. This became more consolidated with time, but we didn’t see any major signs of instability in the main run. We set off a small windslab in the trees on the side of the gully, but this seemed to be isolated to certain small scale terrain features.

We triggered a small wind slab in the bushes to the climber’s left of Hillman’s Highway, about 1/3 of the way up. The crown was maybe 10 feet across, and the depth varied from 1-6 inches. The slide ran on the rain crust from earlier in the week. This cracking/sliding behavior seemed to be small and isolated based on our observations in Hillman’s.
