- <p>No red flags were observed, minus some very obvious weak layers in our snowpit. It took quite a bit of force to get them to react, (ECTP 30+5 hard boot taps), but we finally got full propagation. NSF"s are also weakening under the lengthy High pressure. </p>
- A buried persistent weak layer consisting of graupel and some small facets.
- Surface hoar or feathery frost crystals on the snow surface are fairly widespread in sheltered terrain.
Snowpack
Still a very mixed bag of surface conditions. Only very sheltered, very shaded terrain is holding soft snow.
