Quick report

Typical Todd itinerary and skin tracks for the east facing glades. Sky was mixed clouds and sun becoming full sun by 1030. No wind. New snow depth was around 2-3”. Locally, winds had been out of the ENE, affecting Todd more than usual. Slopes were mixed crust with pockets of wind transport up to 18-20”. Best ski quality was lower angled, sheltered slopes. No instabilities observed. Didn’t poke below the sun crust as it was prevalent and quite solid. I’d anticipate a possible solar effect by this afternoon as the sun has its spring intensity now and air temps were warming quickly.
