- <p>Snow on SE, S and W showed signs of instability by 12:30pm. Saw a few cornice chunks that had broken off over the past couple of days heating. </p>
Classic Utah spring time conditions though the time frame for safe skiing is very short. Tomorrow's will be shorter.
Snowpack
Found pretty good corn snow conditions on SE then S then W. Snow on those aspects was too warm by 12:30pm. Surprised by the supportable foundation as we've had weak overnight refreezes. Only found these conditions around 8000-8800'. Below that was way less supportable and rapidly disintegrated once the sun hit it.
