Quick report

Returned to same ridge line/high point in the skyland area a week later. Vastly different world with 10” of new snow at valley bottom and upwards of a foot above 6000’. Hard to determine amount of new snow as it had been relocated into very impressive drifts and cornices leaving some areas scoured and others with feet deep soft slabs. Surface snow still generally soft and loose even in wind affected areas. Stayed well below freezing with moderate winds today. Slabs and cornices unreactive but stayed on low angle slopes.
