During the descent just before the snowmobile cat track on the northwest aspect where it gets steep I experienced a lot of shooting cracks and slab movement that as I tried to move right away from kept forming 10-15ft in front of me. Slab was 6-8inches thick. Very light storm slab that mostly sluffed through the trees. Second rider to rider's left experienced similar cracking and slab movement and straightlined out.
