Quick report

Late evening, full moon (mostly non-headlamp on uphill) tour along established low-angle trail/4x4 mostly for conditioning, but a few elsewhere-reinforcing observations worth noting: Off the trail/road/tracked snow, crust was almost always supportable skinning and (somewhat surprisingly given temp) also skiing bw 6800-8200, seemingly even under canopy. That said, breezy-turning-windy (always gusty and mostly southerly) likely helped with surface cooling. Luckily came across 8100’ open creek on the uphill as was fairly hidden from above. Precipitation was rare and light on tour, but picked up soon after midnight-ish departure from TH.
