Quick report
We knew the bottom half of our run heading towards the parking lot would be iffy with the fresh few inches of snow in the last few days. It was sitting on a firmish layer of ice that had time the last day or two to freeze.
Avalanche
Paradise 4/13. Triggered a wet loose slide on S facing slope about 6500 ft. Slightly east of the top of panorama point. Around 1230 we began the descent from the snow fields starting at 8500 feet. Snow was great but definitely had warmed by then. When we got below panorama all the fresh snow from the past day or two was very reactive. I cut vertically across the roll over and when I turned I saw i sent a lot of the top 3 inches down and it gathered some momentum (pictured) About 50 yards wide and ran 100 feet until the slope flattened. No one caught and my partner followed without any further activity. We also went down a W facing steep chute about 500 feet below that and the snow held but in the fan out below that my partner set off two more small slides that ran about 250 feet with the top few inches sliding down. (Not pictured). Partner was not caught.
