Boulder Peak

This was an off duty ski with friends to catch a window of excellent skiing. 

Got a reasonably early start to beat the heat, ended up descending shortly before noon. Phew, widespread peeling corn on most solars! Steep E/ESE were starting to be a little overripe,  but everything else was fast, supportable, and predictable. On a steep east facing slope we were able to trigger one small wet loose avalanche that ran slowly through mooshy snow. We climbed Crown Point and descended off the N, finding 10 excellent cold pow turns on shaded N at ~9,800'. Lower elevation snow was melting, but had not become sticky, making for a smooth exit to the cars.
