Slide path, Lost Horse Canyon, Bitterroot.
Avalanche
I observed a recent avalanche on the big south facing path up Lost Horse canyon. Looked very fresh at about 5pm on Sunday afternoon, we speculated that it must have been triggered by the strong sun as there were no tracks leading directly into or out of it. There were snowmobilers playing/highmarking on the lower stretches of the other slide paths.
