Quick report
During our observation we performed an Extended Column Test at which we got a column propagation at 130cm (ECTP25@130cm), up from the bottom, which could potentially become hazardous as the snowpack increases , say a foot or more on top of what is already there as there is a thin layer of surface hoar there. At 90 cm we found another layer of surface hoar at which we performed a Propagation Saw Test. The saw cut approx. halfway through the column, propagating to the end (PST55/120@90cm End) Given our findings caution should still be exercised on North to Southeast facing slopes above 30 degrees as an avalanche could potentially be triggered in the deeper layers creating a very dangerous slide. Widespread wind loading due to high wind event over the past few days.

Snowpack
The snowpack in this area was measured at 175cm (69"). There was bout 1 inch of fresh snow sitting on top of a very thin sun crust at the surface. Towards the middle and bottom, of the snowpack, the snow has become more cohesive due to the high temps we've had the past few days. However a thin layer of surface hoar was found at 130cm and 90 cm. These layers were our most concerning.
